Hi there Jeep owners. Today, on our 2012 Jeep Liberty, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install Demco's base plate. And this is what our base plate looks like, when it's installed. It passes through the grill here at the front, but stays tucked up pretty nicely. So when it's here, you really don't even notice it too much. So, I like that it doesn't detract from the looks of the vehicle, and provides us with our attachment points, so we can hook up to the back of our motor home, and flat tow it. more

Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit Installation - 2011 Jeep Liberty- Video
Hi there, Jeep owners. Today on your 2011 Jeep Liberty, we're going to taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's EZ Base Plate. There's five components you'll need when flat towing your vehicle with whatever you want to pull it with, whether it be a motor home or a tractor trailer. You'll need your tow bar, which is the connection between your vehicle and whatever you're towing. You'll need your safety cables, which is a supplemental connection in addition to your tow bar. You'll need your diode wiring, which takes all the lighting signals from the towing vehicle and sends them to the towed vehicle and you'll also need your supplemental braking system, which will apply the brakes on your towed vehicle whenever you hit the brakes inside your towing vehicle.And this is what our base plate looks like when it's installed. more

Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit Installation - 2007 Jeep Liberty- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2007 Jeep Liberty we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit with removable arm, Part Number RM-521423-5.So here's what our base plate looks like fully installed. It's going to allow us to take our motor home and tow our Jeep behind it. Make sure it's nice, safe, and secure. Now this is going to work with Roadmaster Tow Bars that are mounted to a motor home. When we're not towing our Jeep we do have the option of removing our draw bars. If we come right on the inside here, we're going to have a pull ring. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2006 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2006 Jeep Liberty, we're going to show you Part Number BX1122. This is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with removal arms. This is what the base plate looks like once installed on our vehicle. You notice that it sits in this opening right here that's in part of the bumper cover and it completely fills it up. We have a loop here for our safety cables. This section here is a receiver for the arms that go into place. more

Blue Ox Base PLate Kit Installation - 2002 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on this 2002 Jeep Liberty, we're going to install part number Bx1119. This is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with Removable Arms. Let's try out the attachment tabs. Take this end here, align it with the slot in the inside, push it in, and rotate it until this pin locks into place. When you're not using, you got these plugs for application right there. Put our other tab in. The same thing applies. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2007 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2007 Jeep Liberty, we'll be installing the Blue Ox base plate, part number BX1122. To begin with, you will need to raise the hood of the vehicle. Next, we'll need to remove the grill. In this case, we we're able to lift up the tabs one on top of each of the headlights as well as four tabs through the middle that need to be unclipped, and then as you pull the grill towards the front of the vehicle and out, it will lift off. With the grill out of the way, we need to remove two bolts that are just below the headlights, they are 10 mm bolts. We need to remove both of these as they help hold the lower bumper fascia in place. With each of these removed one on each side, now we need to go into the fender well. We'll need to remove two Christmas tree push pins that are located on the inner fender well section shown here. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Installation - 2008 Jeep Liberty- Video
All right. Today on this 2008 Jeep liberty we are going to install part number BX1976 from Blue Ox. First off, we need to get our vehicle ready to install our base plate. To do that, we need to go ahead and remove the bumper. We will start with that first. We need to remove these three plastic rivets. We do that with a screwdriver and pop the centers loose and pulled them out. Then we also have to remove these two rivets. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Installation - 2010 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 2010 Jeep Liberty well be installing the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with removable arms, part number bx1976. To begin our installation, well go ahead and turn the wheel all the way to the drivers side exposing the inner wheel well here on the passenger side. Here well remove three push pin tabs and two rivets. To remove the push pin tabs, well take a flat bladed screwdriver, pry the center of the tab out and then remove the entire tab. For the push pin rivets, you can attempt to cut off the head of the rivet, or like well do, well go ahead and drill the center out and then just pull out the rest of the rivet. Next well go ahead and pull the wheel liner back exposing a bolt up underneath the wheel liner that will need to be removed. more

Roadmaster Base Plate Installation - 2012 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on our 20-12 Jeep Liberty well be installing the Roadmaster EZ base plate kit, part number 521433-1. First note weve already raised the front vehicle and removed the tire. Now were going to access the wheel well on the passenger side. Here well be removing three of the pushpin fasteners. To remove the fasteners well simply pry out on the center of the fastener and then remove it from its position. Well sit these to the side as well be reinstalling them later. more

Today is 2012 Jeep Liberty. We're gonna install part number BX 1131. First step, is to release three pushpins located in the wheel well area of the vehicle and also two pop rivets. Now go ahead and remove the pushpin that's located in the lower portion of the backside of the fascia, directly infront of the tires. Next, hold the wheel well liner back. remove the three clips on the inside for the trim. more

Roadmaster Base Plate Installation - 2002 Jeep Liberty- Video
Today on this 2002 Jeep Liberty we are going to install Base Plate from Roadmaster, part number 521423-1 from Roadmaster. What we have done so far is remove the front wheels, now you dont have to do this, but it makes the install a little bit easier to get behind to the fasteners in the wheel well. We are going to start from the top and work our way down. Work at the top of the grill and remove the fasteners to take out the grill and then we will start working on the bumper cover. There are four fasteners on the top, here, here, here, and here will start with. And there will be 6 plastic fasteners we have to remove at the top edge of the bumper cover. more
